TEN THINGS NEVER TO DO ONLINE

1. Don't TYPE IN ALL CAPS unless you really want to SHOUT.
2. Don't ask stupid questions; read the FAQ (frequently asked questions) document before you post.
3. Don't post to the wrong group; send your cat stories to rec.pets.cats and your tasteless jokes to alt.tasteless.
4. Don't read other people's email.
5. Don't post spelling, grammar, or "get-a-life" flames.
6. Don't post spoilers (information about upcoming TV shows or movie endings) without warning.
7. Don't post test messages to discussion groups; use a test group instead.
8. Don't stay connected to a remote server if you're not actually using it.
9. Don't violate copyright.
10. Don't harangue other people about their netiquette violations.
