Gnewt README file for version 0.03a Gnewt(1) USER COMMANDS Gnewt(1) NAME gnewt - a tool to build new tools according to GNU stan- dards SYNOPSIS gnewt [options] file(s) ... any of gnewt generated tools recognize the following options by default: [-h, --help] [-o, --output filename] [-v, --verbose] [-V, --version] [-W, --warranty] DESCRIPTION The Gnewt! package helps you in creating new tools according to GNU standards. Gnewt! is basically a crunched version of an all too familiar sentence, that goes like this: ``Holy Gnu; I'm gonna need a new tool to do this!'' (A sentence, that amazingly itself is already a crunched version of the even more familiar sentence: ``Holy Gnu; I'm gonna need a new tool to do this! And I don't like perl(1)!!'') OPTIONS Tool created with gnewt recognize the following options by default: -h, --help Print usage information on stderr. -o, --output filename The output is written to file filename. -v, --verbose Print miscellaneous runtime informations to stderr. -V, --version Print the version number on stderr.
